I have also looked through the death registrations from 1946 - 1957 for a Louisa or Friedericke Rouse without success. I see that she was still calling herself Friedericke in 1901, did she change to Louisa in order that it sounded less German at the time of the Wars?
Is it possible that she married again? Free BMD, which is by no means complete for the period, gives several possible marriages for Louisa Rouse in the West Ham and London area between 1915 and 1925.
