WILLIAM!!!!!!! Bless you!

I am 99.9% certain you have found our Elizabeth; she was my husband's grandmother, she and her husband both died before my husband was born. I am assuming there was little known about either one; in fact, both died while their son, Frederick, was in France during WW I.

We did get a copy of Elizabeth's death certificate when we were visiting Derby - I was the "visitor", he was just returning "home". I searched census records but was always looking for "Elizabeth". Never entered my head to look for Lizzie. I may even have seen this census record but could not be certain if it was our El - Lizzie. I could not use the naming pattern because none of Elizabeth and Herbert's children were named after parents.

Two other wonderful people answered my message, which I truly appreciated. They suggested I search the BMD records. I did that but, again, I could not send for copies of BMD records until I was more certain I had the correct person.

Again, thank you so much.
