Hi

I am doing some research for a book on the Earl of Suffolk around the time of the Second World War (1939-1940). He worked in bomb disposal and had devised ways of disarming bombs chemically (he being an amateur chemist. He developed a friendship with Mr John Brock of Brocks Fireworks in England. His name (Earl of Suffolk) was also mentioned along with the HMS Vernon, a training ship for people who worked in bomb disposal.

Any information on the Earl of Suffolk (his full name would be a great help so I can trace the family) and Mr John Brock's family too.

Many thanks for your help.

Kerin Freeman
