hi

there is an Oxford Street in Hulme and Salford in 1851 and i think one in central Manchester but you would have look at street maps for that one , also it depends were they had the baby registerd, in 1851 my lot had to travel miles from home to register their children,

I have had a look at the births records from 3 years each side of Jessys birth and i cant find her, i cant find a death or any record of her leaving the country, so i wounder if Jessy is a nickname for her, or has the census taker got the name wrong could she be Cassy short for Catherine or Cissy short for Cilia, had the family all left the country by the time of the 1871, i think your bets bet is to start getting some of the certificates to see if they fit
