Can anyone advise me who to contact to look-up information on John Standland of St. James Clerkenwell? In The Complete Book of Emigrants 1607-1776: John Standland, theft: simple grand larceny, 05 May 1736. Stanland, John of Clerkenwell. Sentenced to transportation stealing iron & Transported May 1736 Patapsco to Maryland. Middlesex.

Page (93) - 15. John Standland of St. James's Clerkenwell, was indicted for stealing 14 lb. of Iron value 14d. The goods of Joshua Tomlinson, March 17. Guilty 10d.

Page(128) - The trials being over, the Court proceeded to give judgement as follows: - Received Sentence of Death -7. To be transported - 58, John Standland 12th on the list.
