John Aburn was born April 6, 1794 in Lincolnshire, England according to his tombstone. He immigrated to the USA via the Port of Baltimore Aug. 1817. How should I proceed to investigate his parents in England? Does the census go back to 1801 or 1811? Will I need an address? Do I get the census records from Family History Center? In 1770s I found Abourns in Whaplode, Lincoln (Is that Lincolnshire?)They were also found at Spalding, Lincoln, England at the Familysearch site. Is there some other resourse I am overlooking? A lot of questions...help, please.
