Hello Jeff,
I do have some info on William's ancestry. His father was Thomas Carrott (d. 1846) and his mother was Catherine Bray (d. 1888). Thomas was the son of John Carrott and Elizabeth Needham. Catherine was the daughter of William and Millicent Bray.
There are quite a few Carrott cousins who are in e-mail contact. How are you related to the Carrotts?
