MACHIN of Lincolnshire

Hi -
Thanks for checking out my request. I am looking for information about a direct line ancestor - JOHN MACHIN & back from there.

What I know: His son, William Machin (b.1813) & his wife Elizabeth Girton, & children, migrated to America in 1851. Their marriage certificate -1838, Walcot(t?) Parish Church, Lincolnshire, gives JOHN's occupation as blacksmith. William's residence in 1838 was listed as Heydour. Elizabeth's residence was listed as Walcott. According to the 1851 Census - Aisby/Azeby lists both as born in North Rauceby.

I am hoping that a birth registration or christening record for William in North Rauceby about 1813 might yield results. Also, perhaps an 1821 census record for North Rauceby might show William in JOHN's family group. The 1841 census for Heydour might show William & Elizabeth. Or any other ideas you might suggest or help with.

Thanks.
Mike Machin
