Hi Carole, I just saw your query re Fosters of Epworth.
My family is from there and I am stuck too. I know there are two Foster families,in Epworth and mine is Robert Foster, Married Mary Ann Motershaw. Those are my Great Grandparents.
Robert states in the 1871 census that he was born in Epworth,in 1838, but I haven't found him yet. If you have any information at all, on the family I would appreciate it.
I have some names of the other family, but since I got them from the census I would think you have them too.
