From Lincolnshire to Australia

I have just started on the family history trail. So far I have managed a generation or two out of Australia but not much further.I have got as to two families and then got stuck. They are a Thomas ROBSON who married a Maria LANGTON in Corringham Lincolnshire England in Approx 1845. Thomas was born in 1820/21 with his birth place been given as Lincolnshire England and Maria was born in Corringham Lincolnshire England in 1819/1820. {Can anyone tell me where the ROBSONS or LANGTONS came from or what they were doing in Lincolnshire} Three children were born to them, Sarah Jane 1845, Edward 1847, and William 1852{born Australia}. The whole family went to Australia in 1848 departing Plymouth on the Manchester along with 236 outher emigrants arriving in Port Phillip bay Melbourne on the 12-1-1849. Melbourne was only settled from 1835 onwards and Gold wasn,t discovered until 1851 so they realy were jumping into the wilds of Australia.
Can any one tell me adout Corringham Lincolnshire England or any thing about the ROBSONS or the LANGTONS
Thanking you in advance Owen
