In Reply to: William Huggins 1784 Timberland by Jenny Evans of 1889

Hi Jenny,

I think I may have found William, Martha and 3 of their children on the National Burial Index in Revesby as follows;

15       Mar       1813       Thomas       HUGGINS       inf       Lincs       Revesby, St Lawrence
23       Oct       1824       Timothy       HUGGINS       inf       Lincs       Revesby, St Lawrence
29       Aug       1828       Isaac       HUGGINS       5m       Lincs       Revesby, St Lawrence
26       Apr       1850       Martha       HUGGINS       64       Lincs       Revesby, St Lawrence
17       Mar       1857       William       HUGGINS       75       Lincs       Revesby, St Lawrence

If this is your William then perhaps he was born in 1782.

The following are the burials for Timberland maybe they are related to William.

3       Jan       1817       Thomas       HUGGINS       75       Lincs       Timberland, St Andrew
6       Jan       1834       Elizabeth       HUGGINS       73       Lincs       Timberland, St Andrew
25       Aug       1847       Elizabeth       HUGGINS       50       Lincs       Timberland, St Andrew

According to the IGI William and Martha were married 16th May 1808 in Revesby.

Regards
Glenis
