My earliest Harwood is James Harwood c1718 lincolnshire.
He married twice, first to Marha ? in Cowbit, Lincolnshire on 2/7/1738 (He was also christened on that day) they had at least 3 children Susanna, Martha and Hannah all born in Cowbit.
His second wife was Susanna Smith c1734 from Whaplode, Lincolnshire, who he married on 14/5/1753 in Whaplode. They had 6 children all born in Cowbit,. I am looking for James's parents who don't seem to originate from Cowbit. Any ideas on how to progress? I can't visit any of the records offices personally as I live in France. I will share any of my info with all who ask.
