I have been able the track my line back to Samuel Sanford b. abt 1559 m. abt 1592, no wife name, had 3 children: Samuel (jr) b. 1593, Maria b. 1594 and John b. 1605.
In addition, I have found a "Mr Sanford" b. abt 1533 in Alford, m. abt 1558 to a "Mrs Sanford". They had a child, Samuel b. 1559. This "Mr Sanford" seems to fit, but can find nothing else to confirm.
Anyone have additional information?
