Settled first in Brockville area of Leeds Co. ON. Married Simon Fawcett ca 1829 & first child, William Holmes Fawcett was baptized in Brockville in 1830. Mary's brother, William Holmes b. Feb. 9, 1811 according to tombstone. Simon & Mary Holmes Fawcett & William Holmes would migrate to Elgin Co. ON where they are buried.
