Thank you so much for the help! I live in Missouri, USA so it is harder to get info (and understand it...ie 2 Laughtons near each other?) from England.

Could I ask another favor? I have had another wonderful friend help me with the surname Cawkwell. Would you be willing/able to look-up John Cawkwell/Cauquell in the 1841 census? He was born 1773 and had wife Elizabeth. Probably in Laughton (by Gainsborough!) They were Mildred's parents.
