Hi Looking for data on a marriage at Horncastle of John Wildsmith and Priscilla Bailey June 1872 according to FreeBDM 7a/1090. It appears Priscilla remaried on 11 July 1875 to David Ogden at Christ Church, Harpurhey, Lancashire, England. So it appears John may have Died between 1872 - 1875 either in Horncastle or Hartpuey district. Priscilla I beleive from the census records of 1881 on David Ogden & Priscilla were residing at 8 Newton St Newton, Lancashire and Priscilla was recorded as coming from Barnsley, York.
My delima is where did John come from and whom were his parents. the Barnsley Worsborough was a polific district where the Wildsmith family have resided for over 400 hundred years and there are many John Wildsmith's. Question where would the marriage be recorded and what would be the name of parish church
