Ivan, is there any information on the census about where in Dunholme the 2 families lived? I'm assuming they may have known each other, as both families ended up in the same area of New York state, and a son of one (Thomas Hartley) married the daughter of the other family (Susanna Lawcock) some years later in the U.S.

I think the Lawcock children you found on the 1841 census should be Catherine, Joseph, Thomas, John, Parnell, and Susannah, in that order. Does that look possible?

In any case, Ivan, thank you so much for the pronunciation help and for the census information, which will really help track down these families a bit more. I appreciate the time!
