Hello, Does anyone have a theory as to why Wm Foster & wife, Anne Astill, would have emigrated from Leicestershire to New York State in 1828? They were married in Kirby Muxloe and had several children whose births were registered in Thornton. I can find no connection to anyone who may have emigrated earlier; in fact I believe the Astills went to Australia. Thank you.
