Hi,
in the 1881 census Cornelius Nichols is 57 and had sons:

Alfred George AGE 22
Harry James age 20
Walter Evans Clarke Nichols age 8
and daughter
Florence Mary married to William James, in their 20s.

Which of these people died in approx 1898 or 1899 to leave some money to the widow of his son, Thomas S. Nichols, whose name was Sarah Ann Nichols, living in Omaha, Nebraska or Starke County, Indiana?

Any assistance greatly appreciated.
