My husband's ancestor Louisa Eliza Ann Jennings was born at the Quebec Garrison in 1822 where her father's occupation was recorded as Deputy Commissariat (Accts department). His name was William Jennings and his wife was Elizabeth Lydia Loney. I have information on ancestors (in Hampshire) and decendants but have hit a dead end when trying to locate birth or marriage records for William or Elizabeth.
I am a world member of Ancestry.com and have searched many of their online records. Even though LDS records submitted by family some years ago refer to their births and marriages, I am trying to locate actual records for them.
I know that William died in England and I have a record of that. I am fairly sure that he an Elizabeth were born in England but they may have married in the US or Canada.
There are also records of his parents and his children.
Any help would be appreciated.
