Thanks for your information. I believe this is Isaac Pitchlands family from the Portsmouth Area in Hampshire. Our family decends from these Pitchlynns. They became very famous among the Indian tribes and were instrumental in the development of the United States of America. Isaac was a friend of President George Washington and Thomas Jefferson.
In any case, I wonder if any of the Pitchlands still remain in England? I have the genealogy line on the Ancestry site.
I'm still looking for other information and why Isaac sold himself as a servant to come to the Americas. I know that they gave testimony that the family came from Portsmouth, Hampshire, England.
