in 1851 James is actually 67 not 47
He born Gatcombe,Hampshire, Betty born Newchurch,Hampshire
nephew George Smith age 2 with them

dont find him in 1861 but of course they may have moved or put some other birth place down or the wrong age or died

Joseph Smith 25
George Smith 15
Fanny Smith 9
NewChurch, Isle of Wight, Hampshire
( early abbreviation was HANTS, for Hampshire, just to confuse things
