There are Thomas King baptisms to be found at Bisley via http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~hughwallis/IGIBatchNumbers/CountyGloucester_(A-M).htm#B

You do not know that his father was a primitive Methodist, he may have married one, hence his son's baptism in a non-conformist church.

Do you know just where his son was baptized? There are no extracted King baptisms in the France Meeting House situated in the Bisley parish.
