Hi all...am looking for information on Elizabeth ARKELL. She was born in Leigh or Boddington in 1795-1799 and I am not sure if ARKELL is a maiden name or a married name.
She married Emanual SANDFORD in 1833 in Cheltenham under this name. If she was a widow when they married, would like help finding the right ARKELL.
She and Emanuel Sandford had one daughter, Elizabeth in 1835, but unfortunately Emanuel died in Staverton in 1837. I have located her and her daughter in the 1841, 1851, 1861 and 1871 censuses and have her death record for 1878.
Am interested in early details - possible maiden name or details on the ARKELL family. She is my ggg grandmother and I am very interested in learning more about her.
All help greatly appreciated.
