I'm looking for connections to and ancestors of:
John PETERS was born on 14 Oct 1786 place unknown. He died on 2 Dec 1874. He was buried in Bradford Cemetery, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania.
John married Ruth WHITE daughter of John WHITE and Anne JESS. Ruth was born on 9 Jun 1789 in Hawkchurch, Dorset, England. She died on 27 Jan 1859 and is buried in Bradford Cemetery, also.
They had the following children:
+ 2 M i Andrew PETERS
3 M ii Jacob PETERS.
+ 4 M iii George PETERS
John and Ruth are listed in the 1850 census of Clearfield County, Pennsylvania; but there is no reference to either in the 1840 census. I believe John and his wife immigrated to the US before 1850.
Any information would be helpful.
