Hello Everyone,
I am hoping someone can help me. I am searching for my grandfather who I found out today may have come from Dorsett near the New Forest.
His name as George Frederick or Frederick George Archer.
Estimated birth 1887. Father's name was John Archer and was farmer. George enter the British Army and was a private in the Dorsett Regiment as of 1914. He was station in India at one time and in 1914 was stationed at Soldiers Home in Belfast where he met and married my grandmother Sarah Nolty.
Any help is appreciated.
