Hi Eugene,
I found the the entry for John Meadon from the British Vital Records discs, these are published by the LDS. If you have a local Family History Centre then you could order the film to view, the number given for John is FHL Film 1279490.
In case you are not aware of it the Dorset OPC site can often be very useful.
