Researching the Atkins and Trist families from Devon for a possible link to my tree.
The following has been put together from 1841, 1851, 1861, 1871, 1881 census'
William Thomas ATKINS m Isabella
Children - Amelia J ATKINS b. abt 1831/2
- William R ATKINS b. abt 1833
- Jane Rogers ATKINS b. abt 1826
- Emma J ATKINS b. abt 1842
- Cosima ATKINS b. 1835(Only found on 1841 census)
Jane Rogers ATKINS possibly married John TRIST (she is mentioned in the 1861 census with his surmame and a child Fred b. abt 1858) I believe she is the mother of Emma Atkins TRIST b. abt 1863 who was the first wife of my grandfather John William ROBINSON
