I have been able to trace the Truen's all spellings to 1790 in Veryan.
The David Trounce Veryan website has Peter Trowan/Truen bap in 1815 and his father Peter bap in 1790.
Throughout the census' Peter the younger has had his birth year as 1800.
I have no idea of who Peter's (bap 1790), wife and mother of Peter the younger is, and I wonder if anyone can shed light on the family before 1790.
