Hello! Looking for info on the John & Leah(born c.1806)& their family. They were married on 19 Oct 1834 at St Marys Portsea & I have 3 chn so far. John Frederick b. 1835, Fanny Badcock nee Goodfellow b.1844 & William Henry b. 1846. John is a Seamen in 1851 & a pensioner in 1851 but has died before 1861 as Leah is a widow then. On her death cert from 1891 it says that John was a petty officer with the RN. Royal Navy presumably. I haven't found John on the censuses or in the Navy records at the National Archives or Find my past. I only found John Rooke Goodfellow who wasn't him.I don't have his birth or death details. I have an 1854 death cert but the age was 66 & he was a laborer & it didn't seem to fit at all. Can anyone help me work out John & Leah's story? Thanks Rose
