Evening If you go to Find My Past, there are three Margaret BONN entries in the 1841 Census. None of them are good fits to your description- http://www.findmypast.co.uk Household BONN, Margaret 1807 34 F Stepney Middlesex VIEW VIEW Household BONN, Margaret 1832 9 F Bridlington Yorkshire VIEW VIEW Household BONN, Margaret 1781 60 F Liverpool Lancashire VIEW VIEW Also it could be that apart from being missed in that Census, she could already be married, so "lost" due to the change to "Smith"; or she may have moved to Ireland etc. ================================= It may be that they married in Ireland; and you would have to access the Irish records in Belfast and/or Dublin. ================================== There are no Margaret Bonn results in the 1851 Census on FMP. Of course by then, your one may have moved to Canada etc. ================================= I suggest that you should try to find her Death in the Canadaian (poss also USA) records, as it may contain additional details, allowing you to more positively identify her. There may be newspaper obituaries. Also the Birth record of Annie may have details of her parents' Marriage. BONN seems to be mainly associated with southern England; but with a surprising quantity in Scotland - - not many but more than I had anticipated. It doesn't ap[pear in THE OXFORD NAMES COMPANION, a major compendium of surnames etc. Alex Dow Notify Administrator about this message?
