Nellie Engel came to Canada in 1894 with her mother John Mann and Rosalia Mann. They arrived from Galacia, Austria on the "Vancouver". Several of Nellie's brothers came with her along with her sister (married) and brother in-law Frank Kammers. Nellie's husband appears to have delayed his arrival coming in 1987. His name is Johan J Engel. They appear to be living together in 1901 but in the 1906 census they are living apart. She with her parents. By 1911 Nellie has remarried to a Peter Keenie but there is no sign of Johan J Engel. Word is that he returned to Galacia Austria. The family lived in Lemberg, Saskatchewan, Canada. I am trying to find out what happened to Johan J Engel born Aug 3, 1868 in Galacia, Austria. As mentioned there is no trace of him after 1906.
