You're right, parents are usually listed, but the chuch is listed. Letters to churches in the past have not given me any more information but shall write as I would like to be able to tie in this new information. It was only because of the 1920 census that I knew of Albert. I also obtained a birth certificate for Eliza, I'm looking into the Pestrups as that is where the Hoff mother lived and I think died. Will let you know if I cross paths with any Nichols or find that Henry Pestrup came from that area,He only lists Germany.
