Engel Rochelle IL>Clinton IA

Looking for information on Frederich Johann Engel b Prussia
migrated to Rochelle IL about 1882 with wife Sophia (Schulz) and daughter Lena b. 1867. They migrated from Loitz, Pommern, Prussia. Fred died in 1903 in IA and was buried in Rochelle, IL with Sophia who died 1899. They may have lived in the Flagg Twp area as that is where Lena appears on the 1900 census. Have not yet found Frederich on the 1900 census.

Daughter Wilhelmina Engel b. 1861 migrated earlier (bef 1882) to the Rochelle area. She married Fred Hacker in Germany or Rochelle. She died 1884 and is buried in Rochelle.

My great grandfather, Freiderich Johann Christian Engel b. 1843-1845, migrated in 1885 to join his parents Frederch and Sophia Engel. After the birth of his daughter Hattie while living in Rochelle his family migrated to Clinton, IA about 1887.

Wondering if anyone would know if there were any brothers and sisters born between Fred, Jr in 1843-1845 and his sister Wilhelmina in 1861.

Thanks for any input. Nancy
