Looking for any information on Christine Karoline Engel Meinsen. Maiden name may be Kloepper and not Engel. She was born 2 September 1841 in Germany and died in 1922. She had at least 2 children that I know of, Christine Meinsen Withoft and my great-grandmother, Marie Meinsen Sand who came to America (alone?) in the 1870's/1880's. Christine Meinsen Withoft was born 17 November 1870 in Friedewalde and died 20 April 1956 in Evingsen/Altena. Would like any info on either Christine, Christine or Marie.
Am also looking for Christine Withofts family who used to write to my grandmother Louise Sand in Illinois. I would love to write to them. Christine's grandson, Christian Withoft would be about 68 today. He had three sons: Klaus-Christian (36), Rainer (34), and Bernd ( 31) whose last known address in 1973 was "West Germany". Would appreciate any (!!!!) and all information on the Engels (or Kloeppers), Meinsens, Sands or Withofts. Thanks so very much for taking the time to read this!!!!
