Hi Donald - Sorry, I haven't been on the internet in a while. My Great-Grandfather was Nils Christian Enge born Sept 27, 1850 in Eidesogn Norge, Norway. He married my Great-Grandmother Lina (Tolina) Larson Enge. They immigrated to the United States of America sometime around age 30, I believe. She was born on 8/21/1854 in Lourdal i Logndal Norge, Norway. I am very interested in finding out if there are any of these remaining Enge's in Norway, Europe, or in the United States. I'm sure they must have had brothers & sisters who remained in Norway when they left & would have had children. There must be some lineage there, or possibly others in their family migrated to the U.S. I have some large original pictures of both of them, taken around their 30's, probabley after they immigrated to America. I am very interested in knowing if there are remaining lineages of their families either here or in Europe. There's a possiblity that the spelling, as you said, could have been misinterpreted, or even changed last to first name, after coming to America. Research, & if you can find any documentation or information - I would very much like to hear from you again. Good Luck with your search .... A. Jones
