I'm searching for a Bernard Emond(Amo). I've seen several postings here that seem to closely resemble the information I have. Bernard was my great grandfather. Here is the story I was told: Bernard Amo married Elizabeth St. Aubin (somtime in the mid to late 1800's), they had 6 children and lived in Ontario, Canada. At some point Bernard left Elizabeth and either remarried or lived with Marie Langlois and changed his surname to Emond. It is thought that members of this family may also have moved to Messena, New York. Bernard and Marie had 5 children that we know of. My mom has wonderful memories of Bernard and Elizabeth and also said Marie was very kind as well. I've chose not to disclose the names of his children from either of his relationships as we do not want to step on anyone's toes. I have pictures of Bernard and also have info on his father as well. Hoping that this rings a bell for someone out there :-)
