My father's mother's female line uses Emon as a given name. I feel it is a significant clue to an otherwise sparse bit of information about them. Emon is found distributed over most of France as a surname. Tiny sampling in Britain including Wales and U.S. (Opelousas, Louisiana, etc.) as well as Renfrew County, Ontario, Canada. Surname can be confirmed in France back to 1600s. Hoping to learn more. Notify Administrator about this message?
