Hi Sue:
Although I have no information on Pearl,I really think you might be on the right track. James Emmons from Fauquier Co., Virginia fought in the Revolutionary War. There is a lot of information about him on-line. He had lots of children and two that I know of migrated to Indiana. One was Ephraim and the other Tillman. They went first to Union Co., Indiana. I believe Ephraim then went to Delaware Co, Indiana.(Or Kosciusko) He had a very large family and I only have been able to find one son, Erastus. Elihu(Eli) might have been another as he(Eli) had a son named Ephraim. I would love to have the names of all of Ephraim Emmons' children, but this has been a brick wall.If you plug the above names into this forum, I think you will find a lot of information.
There are other Emmons that came to Indiana, but they were in the Southern Part.I dont know where that family originated.
If you want dates, I will be glad to supply them.
Kathie
