Hi norma, I have a joseph emmons married to mary anderson. I am researching their son george h. who
was my g-grandfather -possibly.both joseph and mary were buried in pointville cemetary which is now on Fort Dix
military base and I have the info written somewhere.Joseph is also listed in Corwins book but the father
Joseph, not the one born in 1872.( Joseph born in 1839 died 6/17/1902.He was in company D 2nd
regiment NJ cavalry.Married May anderson 11/11/1860 from burlington cty marriage book E. pg. 221
" Joseph E. age 22 son of joshua and Ann both of new hanover. Mary anderson age 18, daughter of
james and rachel") This is directly from corwins book.It doesnt list the children but I found Josephs
gravestone (before the base was closed to the public) and it is grouped with Joshua and Ann
Joshua b 3/21/1810 - 9/21/1861 and annb. 10/14/1809- 2/15/1902.Now in corwins book Joshua is listed
as dying9/24/1864 I may have copied wrong but cannot go back to check. If you want more info and think
this is the same person let me know.Alyson
