Frank,
We used to visit your grandmother when I was growing up.My father was sponsored by your grandfather when he came to this country in 1923 from Chemnitz, Germany. My dad was a tailor by trade and had a tailor shop on Titus Avenue in Inrondequoit from about 1934 until 1944.At that time he went to work for the Post Office to ensure a retirement. He was born in 1899 and died in 1990.My mother is still alive and living in the Monroe Community Hospital. She is 105+ years old.Somewhere I have a copy of the Emmerling coat of arms that was sent out by the a geneology company starting back in the 70's.It was sent out gratis so I assume that I could copy it on my scanner and send it to anyone of the Emmerlings who is interested.
I've talked enough, I'd like to hear from you.Fred
