After doing much research on my own, I have recently found even more info on this site. I have also just subscribed to the mailing list that Peggy adminstrates and will post there.
First of all, does anyone know if David Emley was successful in putting together his "Emley's In America" list?
Second of all, has anyone learned the maiden name of William Emley's 2nd wife Mary?
I am descended from William EMLEY > John EMLEY > Robert EMLEY > Elizabeth EMLEY who married Job OLDEN on 23 Oct 1794 in Hunterdon Co, NJ. I believe they had only one child: my 3rd g-grandfather Emley OLDEN.
I would love to know birth and death dates of Elizabeth EMLEY, if anyone has info on her. The best I've been able to come up with so far is that she was born circa 1767 and died after 1816. (Her husband Job OLDEN died in 1798. Might she have remarried? Their son Emley OLDEN would have been only 3 when his father died.)
