There is a Phebe Jan or Phebe Jane Emley in my family history, but we can't find anything about her Emley family, her birth date or anything. All we know is that she married Andrew Milton Robison, December 1, 1853 in Clinton County, Indiana. Died January 28, 1921 in Clinton County, Indiana. Had four children, Elizabeth,
Joseph H., Mary Jane, and William Alexander.
I found a note, that Phebe was born in Michigan Township of Clinton Co., Indiana, but I can't back it up with documentation.
I found a Phebe Jane Emley, who was one of 7 or 8 children listed in the remarks column of a marriage between Anthony Emley and Margaret Egner on March 28, 1833. But I can't find anything further on any of these people. The other siblings were: Joseph S., Sarah S., Anthony A., William, Mary, Hannah and possibly a Margaret.
Below the listing of children, was written "[ANTHONY & MARGARET EMLEY(SIC)WIT WILL ELIZABETH WHITEMAN, BK 1 PP 64,65, 859". Does anyone know what this means? Do you know anything about this Phebe Jan Emley?
