Hello Mike,
You are asking about the James Emily married to a Taggart, well, that was James Emily (b: 1846 in IN) son of Samuel Emily (b: 1818, d: May 1st, 1884) son of Isaac Emily (b: 1770, d: 1840). James' wife's name is Mary Elizabeth Taggart. She was born abt. 1848. They were married April 5th, 1868. They had the following children: a female (name unknown) b: Sept. 5th, 1885; Charles A. Emily b: 1869; Samuel E. Emily b: 1872; and Alma Emily b: 1875.
James' mother was Sarah J. Hurst (b: 1827 in IN, she married Samuel Emily abt. 1843, d: March 1864).
Isaac's wife was Louisa Berryman (b: 1805 in VA, m: Aug. 26th, 1814).
I haven't been able to go beyond Isaac yet.
