As is typical, there is not much useful information on an 1870 manifest. James Williams was master and the steamship sailed from Liverpool and Queenstown with 155 paqssengers.

Although it can't be said with certainty, it would appear that your man traveled alone in steerage.

And. Geary, 45, male, laborer, from England, to USA.
