The port of entry had nothing to do with where the immigrant settled.

Here is a record that is obviously mis-transcribed (by Ancestry) The name is clearly RUSSELL

Name: Mary Russett
Arrival Date: 28 Sep 1891
Estimated Birth Year: abt 1871
Age: 20
Gender: Female
Port of Departure: Glasgow, Scotland and Moville, Ireland
Destination: Win??,Connecticut
Place of Origin: Scotland
RaceĀ: Scottish (Scotish)
Ship Name: Anchoria

To me the destination may appear to be Winsted. She is traveling with a Lizzie RUSSELL age 22
