I am looking for the ship that carried the following:
Jacob George Schader B: 1832 Hoffenheim, Germany
D: 6 Nov 1907, Grey County, Ontario,Canada
Mary Schafer(2nd wife) B. 1851 Rixfield, Germany
D: 1929 Williamsford, Ontario, Can
Henry Schafer(son) B: 1859 Hoffenheim, Germany
Susanne Katherine Schafer(Dtr) B: 1865 Hoffenheim, Ger
D: 1918 Saskatchrwan, Can
Charles Carl Schafer B: 1866 Hoffenheim, Germany
D: 1948 Durham, Ontario
Anna Schafer B: 1868 Hoffenheim, Germany
D: 1914 Sullivan, Ontario Canada
There was a permit issued to Jakob Schaefer of Hoffenheim, in 1879 for 6 people to leave Germany. I believe they came in 1880, as they are on the 1881 Canadian Census.
I also believe they arrived in New York. Have had no luck on line.
