Hi,
I'am looking for any information on a woman named MAGDALENA SUMAKARIENE.
She was originally from Lithuania (pajavonys) She was born in Vilnius in 1890-1891.
She died in Philadelphia on 6/10/1964.
She was married to my Great Uncle PETRAS SUMAKARIS.
He died in Germany .He was held captive in Germany he was POW duriing WW1.
He was born in Lithuania in the 1800's in Virbalis or Vilkaviskis region
MAGDALENA AND PETRAS SUMAKARIS had 1 Daughter-
ANELE SUMAKARAITE OR SUMAKARYTE dob 4/12/1914
Born in PAJAVONYS LITHUANIA.
She marrried VAITIEKUS PUODZIUNAS and became ANELE PUODZIUNIENE. ANELE had 4 children JONAS, PETRAS,ALBINA AND JANINA. I found the manifiest on my cousin Anele Puodziunas but can't find anything on her mother. I'm not she is MAGDALENA was here before her daughter or if she came after her daughter. But ididn't see her under the same manifest with her daughter. her daughter came here in 1949.
Any information will be truly appreciate it.
