Try theshipslist. Many of the ships went to Canada vs. the U.S. because the fare was less. Also, the Brits often subsidized passage to get rid of the Irish. However, in most cases, detailed passenger lists were not kept as it would be an "inconvenience" and result in decreased profits for the ship owners.
