Jan,

Thank you for the suggestion...good idea. Will have to start my letter-writing campaign this week concentrating on Kentucky.

I, too, found other relatives living nearby the ancestor I was looking for in Chicago. In fact, the neighborhood was composed mostly of Scotsmen. Apparently, they traveled in packs!
